Pink, Wild, Azalea/Honeysuckle Tree ………. Scientific name … Rhododendron periclymenoides … 4-03-08
We call these Wild Azaleas. They are a form of Honeysuckle, but grow on a tree, not on a vine like the regular honeysuckles. This is the darker pink shaded ones and I have a white that I will put on later. They grow wild in the woods. This is one of the two that grow on our property. This one is about 10 to 12 Feet Tall.
